WATERLOO (KWWL)-- Carrying too much weight can take a toll on your health and your wallet.
A report out today from George Washington University estimates the financial costs of being obese -- and it's expensive.
It says obese women will spend over eight thousand dollars a year -- and men will rack up 65-hundred dollars in expenses annually.
The costs include medical care, missed work, disability and insurance -- as well as the value of years lost to premature death.
