WATERLOO (KWWL) - A new study out of New York state looks at the decision making abilities of video gamers.
Researchers at the University of Rochester had people participate in a series of decision-making experiments.
Some were gamers, others weren't.
They found gamers were better at making quick, accurate decisions.
But that was only true in gamers that played action video games.
Not true in games featuring strategy or role-playing situations.
