WATERLOO(KWWL)--Waterloo East scored touchdowns on its first two offensive plays and rolled to a 48-7 victory over Cedar Rapids Jefferson.
The 48 points are the most the Trojans have scored in a game since the 1990's. East jumped to a 20-0 lead with 4 minutes left in the first quarter. The Trojans added touchdowns on a one yard run by Cameron Winters and a 70 yard reverse by Deshawdis Washington for a 34-0 halftime lead.
It's the Trojans first win of the season and is also the first victory under first year head coach Kody Asmus.
