Cedar Falls wins against CR Prairie

CEDAR FALLS (KWWL) -- Second ranked Cedar Falls has been impressive, giving up just seven points in victories over Dubuque Hempstead and Waterloo East. While both of Prairie's losses have come to ranked teams, Cedar Rapids Washington and Xavier in the first two weeks.

The Tigers were simply on the prowl all night long. First offensive series for the Tigers and Jordan Doyle drops back and goes 25-yards to Bobby Brummel with a tight rope grab. One play later, Denny would drop back again and go deep to a wide open Andrew Stone. Both are former N-U High players for the first score, Tigers up 7-0 with 8 minutes left in the first.

A little later Cedar Rapids Prairie trying to pass themselves and Alex Quinones skies to make a nice pick for the Tigers. Next play Tigers go for the knockout. Doyle rolls out and he finds his favorite target Alex you can't crush me Stone and the Tigers are up 14-0. Right before the end of the first quarter #3 Barkley Hill gets in the act with a scamper around the right side. He would score from 18 yards out making the score 21-zip at the end of one.

It would be 38-0 at half. The Tigers roll, 45-7 as the final score.
