Waterloo Police make prostitution bust

WATERLOO (KWWL) -- Waterloo Police have charged three people with prostitution after an undercover investigation September 9.

Forty-nine-year-old Robert Frickson of Evansdale, was charged with prostitution after he offered money to an undercover female police officer to have sex with him.

Police also charged 44-year-old Debbie Lynn Ackerman of Waterloo with prostitution after she made an offer to an undercover male police officer perform a sex act on him for money.

And 59-year-old Jacob Klassen Redekopp of Manitoba, Canada, was charged with prostitution after he offered money to an undercover female police to perform a sex act on him.

The undercover operation began after police received complaints of prostitution activities in downtown Waterloo.
