WATERLOO (KWWL) -- Last year's concerns regarding the H1N1 flu spreading among children prompted many schools and daycares to close temporarily. Now, researchers are looking at how the closings affected parents.
About three-percent of more than 500 parents surveyed said the closures were a major problem.
Three-quarters said it was not a problem.
About one in five parents missed work because of it. And about that many said their child missed a free or reduced cost lunch.
