UPDATE: Bank robbery reported in Iowa City

IOWA CITY (KWWL) -- Iowa City Police are investigating a bank robbery that happened at around 1:39 Wednesday afternoon.

According to police, a white man in his 40's walked into the US Bank at 1117 William Street and handed a teller a note.

He left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money.

Police say the robber had shoulder length hair in a ponytail, was wearing sunglasses, a gray NASCAR sweatshirt, blue baseball hat, blue jeans and was carrying a dark red, over-the-shoulder bag.

He was last seen heading north towards Muscatine Avenue on foot.
