Woman killed in single vehicle accident


WASHINGTON COUNTY (KWWL) -- A western Iowa woman is killed in a single car crash in Washington County.

The Iowa State Patrol says 26-year old Micah Harmsen of Keota was driving south on W-61, which is south of Riverside just after 5:00 Saturday night when he lost control of his truck and went into a ditch.

Deputies say Harmsen tried to drive out of the ditch and rolled his truck.

His passenger, 21-year old Sara Sell from Glenwood was killed in crash. She was not wearing a seatbelt.

Harmsen was taken to the hospital, but his condition is not being released.
