Cedar Rapids Xavier escapes Prairie 17-10

CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) -- This was a defensive battle in the 2nd half. 
In the 3rd quarter, Cedar Rapids Xavier Saints up 14-10, the Cedar Rapids Prairie Hawks' Sam Jones sacks Saints QB Andy Didio to the 19 yard line.
Xavier would return the favor, Chase Klopfer smothered QB Chaz Booth back to the Hawk 16 yard line.
The play of the game came on 2nd & 10. Didio would go up top and deep to Nathan Evan for 37 yards, that set up a 3 point field goal.
Prairie came right back, driving deep, but Booth makes a bad pass and gets picked off by Mitch McLaughlin in the end zone.  Saints hold on to go 2 and 0 with a 17-10 win.
