3 nabbed in Waterloo, Cedar Falls drug busts


WATERLOO (KWWL) -- Three area men are in jail after a string of drug busts on Wednesday morning.

Waterloo Police Captain Tim Pillack says officers from the Tri-County Drug Enforcement Task Force, Waterloo Police, Cedar Falls Police, Black Hawk County Sheriff's Office and the Iowa State Patrol began the raids at 3:00 Wednesday morning.

The raids were done on Irving and Newton Streets in Waterloo and on West 12th Street in Cedar Falls.

Officers arrested Mark Hopper of Waterloo, Robert Dale of Cedar Falls and Javier Rincon-Rivera on Sale and Manufacture of Narcotics charges.

Hopper and Dale are being held without bond at the Black Hawk County Jail, while Rincon-Rivera is being held on $105,000 bond.

No other details about the raids are being released.
