WATERLOO (KWWL) -- Police say a a 19-year-old Waterloo man has died following a motorcycle crash near George Wyth State Park.

Police say Tyler Pearce died after losing control and veering off the road. It happened around 11:20 Friday morning.

Officers say it appears Pearce's motorcycle left the road, and went through the ditch of a chain link fence.  The trail went into the water of East Lake.

Police found the Peace's body and motorcycle in East Lake.

Witness Omer Wilson was fishing on the lake, just feet from the water where the victim landed.

"The place where he went in, we were just two three minutes fishing right there. We just moved under the bridge and all the sudden I heard the screeching and the crash and all the dirt and everything came down in the bay there in the water," said Wilson
