Court case on revealing bail-outs won't be re-heard

NEW YORK (AP) -- A federal appeals court in New York won't hold a rare full-court re-hearing of a panel's decision to force the Federal Reserve to reveal documents showing financial companies that were loaned money from the government during the recession.

The 2nd US Circuit Court of Appeals issued an order forcing the federal government to appeal the March ruling with the Supreme Court.

A Federal Reserve spokesman said Monday that the government hasn't decided yet whether to appeal.

The Fox News Network and Bloomberg sought details about loans that commercial banks and Wall Street firms received. Other news agencies including The Associated Press filed briefs in support with the appeals court.
