ORLANDO, FL (KWWL) -- Cerro Gordo County Auditor Ken Kline and his elections staff are receiving national recognition for their work.

Kline and his staff won the "Stars and Stripes" award for professional practices in the field of election administration that was given at the National Association of Election Officials conference in Orlando.

They were recognized for their work developing the Precinct Atlas electronic poll book system.  The Precinct Atlas electronic poll book program provides precinct officials with step-by-step instructions on how to properly administer elections. Currently, the program is scheduled to be used in 668 precincts within 46 counties across the state in the November election.
