Posted:

MONCTON, CANADA (KWWL) -- Recent Dike-New Hartford grad added another big achievement to her resume finishing 5th in the high jump at the IAAF World Track and Field Championships.

Willms jumped over the bar at 5 feet, 11 3/4 inches to finish 5th.  She was the highest team USA finisher in the event.  Marija Vukovic of Montenegro won the event with a jump over 6 feet, 3 inches.

Willms track career has likely come to an end as she's committed to play volleyball at Iowa State.
