UPDATE: Four people die in Johnson County crash

IOWA CITY (KWWL) - Law enforcement responded to a vehicle crash near Iowa City at Herbert Hoover Highway and Interstate 80 around 8:00 a.m. Sunday.

Four people died in that crash according to State Patrol.

Investigators say it was a one-vehicle wreck.

The Iowa State Patrol said that three of the four victims were not wearing seat belts.

Rebecca Frea of Iowa City, Jason Onsgard of Iowa City, and Joseph Vinopal of La Crosse were all ejected from the vehicle.

Authorities say the fourth victim, Heather Althiser, was still in the car.

Authorities said the vehicle was westbound on Local Road when the crash occurred.
