GRANT COUNTY, WI (KWWL) -- A Verona man was found guilty Thursday of helping dig a grave so his brother could have sex with the body.  The Grant County Sheriff's Office says 24-year-old Alexander Grunke was convicted of Attempted 3rd Degree Sexual Assault.

The incident happened September 2, 2006 at the St. Charles Cemetery in Cassville Township.  Authorities say Grunke helped his brother Nick and Dustin Radke digging the grave of Laura Tennessen so that Nick could have sexual intercourse with her.  Both Nick Grunke and Dustin Radke had been previously convicted.

A sentencing date for Alexander Grunke will be set by September 2, 2010.  Grunke remains free on bail pending the sentencing hearing.
