Grout Museum's Summer Bash Science Circus

WATERLOO (KWWL) The Grout Museum District in Waterloo is hosting a three day event that's a circus theme with a science twist.

The "Summer Bash Science Circus" is July 29th, 30th and 31st.

Families are invited to the RiverLoop Expo Plaza in downtown Waterloo for entertainment, food and fun.

The first day of the event is during RAGBRAI, and the Grout is the official family event for RAGBRAI.

Most of the activities are free, but you will need tickets for one of the circus-themed entertainers.

"We have a special performer coming in from Oregon. his name is Rhys Thomas. He puts on a very exciting, very entertaining, very interactive show for families and kids. He uses circus tricks to teach science," said Eve Halligan with the Grout Museum District.

The performances are all three days at approximately 2 p.m., 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. You can reserve tickets early for the show by calling the Grout Museum in Waterloo at 319-234-6357.
