Hurricane Katrina's effect on children

(KWWL) -- Many children affected by Hurricane Katrina suffered post traumatic stress and other behavioral problems.

A new study finds three years after the disaster, overall symptoms had decreased, mostly because of rebuilt schools and supportive relationships.

But more than a quarter of children still had significant depression, especially younger children and girls.
