Students continue to fight dress code

WATERLOO (KWWL) -- Despite being turned away twice, several Waterloo students have continued to voice their opinions against the Waterloo Community School District's dress code decision.

So why do students keep showing up?

"It puts a lot of pressure on them [district officials] because the few meetings we've been at  I've felt a lot of tension when we are out there talking about their decision," Waterloo student Austin Kinney said.

Even still, the school district stands firm on its decision.

Uniforms will be required at five Waterloo schools starting this fall.  The rest of the district will adopt the dress code in the fall of 2011.
