CAMP DODGE (KWWL) -- The Iowa National Guard has set the schedule for the sendoff ceremonies for the 2,800 soldiers of the 2nd Brigade Combat Team that is being mobilized as part of the largest deployment of Iowa National Guard soldiers since World War II.

After the ceremonies, the soldiers will report to Camp Shelby, Mississippi for additional training before leaving for Afghanistan.

The 2nd Brigade Combat Team has been ordered to federal active duty for one year by President Obama under a partial mobilization call-up.
