Waterloo accepting flood debris at waste site

WATERLOO (KWWL)--- After heavy rains and flash flooding, many people in the area are cleaning up basements, garages, and homes.  For Waterloo residents, the city is providing a place to take all of that left-over debris and drop it off for free.

Large piles of debris have already been dropped off since the site opened Saturday.  The drop-off site located at 3505 Easton will be available through Saturday, July 17.  There are some rules though.  You cannot leave behind paint, chemicals, or tires.  And all tree limbs should be dropped off at the nearby yard waste site.
