The Waterloo Center for the Arts is offering two Summer Camps, July 13-16 for young children and teens. Registration deadline for these camps is Friday, July 9.

 

Animation/Claymation Camp (Ages 9-12)

Learn how to create the illusion of movement with hand sculpted clay figures. You will work as a team on a single animation and can invite family to attend the premier showing at the end of the week. Each camper will receive a copy of the final product to keep and treasure!

Tuesday-Friday, July 13-16, 10:00 am-12:00 pm

Instructors: Megan Cardamon & Libby Whyte

Members: $64, Non-members: $70

 

Digital Arts Camp (Ages 14-17)

Develop a storyline, sculpt characters, and create your own stop motion film using digital stills and Flash software. Present your work at the end of the week in a film screening in WCA's Law Court Theater.

Tuesday-Friday, July 13-16, 1:00-4:00pm

Instructors: Megan Cardamon & Libby Whyte

Members: $60, Non-Members: $7
