Run4Troops Raises More Than $6,000



Volunteer runners and walkers helped raise more than six-thousand dollars in the Second annual Run4Troops benefit for military families Saturday in Dubuque County.

Dozens of teams and individuals took part in the 26-mile marathon relay from Dyersville to Dubuque along the Heritage Trail.

In its first year, the Run4Troops raised two thousand dollars and increased that to more than six thousand this year. The Hodge family, Connie aned Mike, of Dubuque, teamed up with the Disabled American Veterans and Radio Dubuque to make this fundraising event happen.
