Love Kitchen serves those in need

WATERLOO (KWWL) -- Monday the Little Caesars Love Kitchen served lunch to more than 100 people in need in Waterloo.

The Salvation Army kitchen was closed for the holiday so it was important Little Caesars came in.

"We have about 30 or 40 people right now that just had lunch that wouldn't have had lunch today otherwise," said Captain Rob Whitney with the Salvation Army. "It's an excellent thing."

Little Caesars has held Love Kitchens before in Eastern Iowa -- in Parkersburg after the tornado in May 2008 and in Cedar Rapids during the floods of 2008.
