UPDATE WITH NAMES: Driver's ed car involved in crash with semi

BREMER COUNTY (KWWL)-- Highway 63 near Denver was rerouted Wednesday morning following a crash involving a New Hampton driver's education car and a semi truck in a construction zone.  The Iowa State Patrol reports the semi overturned following the crash around 7 a.m.

There were three students in the car with an instructor. They students, 16 year-old Zachary Denner, 15 year-old Dakota Sweitzer, 15 year-old Tanner Sorensen and their instructor, 52 year-old Scott Hogeland, were taken to Allen Hospital around 7:30 a.m.  The driver of the semi, 56 year-old John Fine of Minnesota also went to the hospital. A hospital spokesperson say none of the injuries are life-threatening.

The semi was hauling what appeared to be asphalt. It spilled its contents into the ditch.
