$1 million for CF bus stop upgrades

CEDAR FALLS (KWWL) - The city of Cedar Falls is getting more than one million dollars to upgrade a bus facility at UNI.

$1,263,845 from the U.S. Department of Transportation will buy solar panels for the university's multimodal facility in Cedar Falls.

The UNI Multimodal Transportation Center gives students, visitors, faculty and staff easier access to the campus and the surrounding communities. The facility is a stop for the Panther Shuttle, MET Transit and Safe Ride buses. It also provides easy access to the Cedar Valley Nature Trails bicycle paths.
