Dubuque man pleads not guilty to Wisconsin burglary


LANCASTER, WISCONSIN (KWWL) -- The Grant County, Wisconsin Sheriff's Office says a Dubuque man has pleaded not guilty to a 2009 burglary.

Cody Dittmar, 18, of Dubuque, appeared in court on Thursday to face Burglary and Theft charges.

Dittmar pleaded not guilty to the burglary of the Southwest Mart in Hazel Green, Wisconsin on September 7, 2009.

A status hearing is scheduled for August 4, 2010 and his trial is scheduled for the week of August 31, 2010 or September 1, 2010.

According to online court records, Dittmar was found guilty of First Degree Theft and Third Degree Burglary in Iowa earlier this year for charges stemming from an incident on September 15, 2009.

Records also show that as a juvenile in Iowa, Dittmar was charged with Disorderly Conduct, Possession of Marijuana and Fifth Degree Theft.
