New jobs coming to Marshalltown

CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL)-- Thomas L. Cardella & Associates (TLC&A) announced Tuesday that it will bring 140 new jobs to its contact center located at 2500 South Center Street in Marshalltown.  These new jobs include both inbound and outbound positions, which will begin hiring by July 7th.

Applications are now being accepted for the 40 outbound sales positions that will be assigned to work with DIRECTV's top-tier customer base.   Hiring for the remaining 100 openings will begin in early August, staffing three shifts to enable 24-hour coverage of inbound calls for one of the nation's largest financial institutions.

All positions will receive guaranteed pay increases every six months, paid training and a comprehensive benefits package. Individuals hired into these positions will require outstanding communication skills, with a background in sales. Successful completion of pre-employment background check is required.

"The company is excited to be able to bring this many additional quality jobs and benefits to the residents of Marshall County.  We are committed to job growth in Iowa and our clients' needs are well served by the dedicated workforce in this hard-working community," said Thomas L. Cardella, company president.
