Whether you're a serious athlete, a weekend warrior or just lead an active life, when you get to be a certain age, there's no stopping the pain in your knees, ankles, hips and back.
Now some doctors have found a way to stop the pain without surgery.
Specialists at the National Rehabilitation Hospital are using ultrasounds to get a picture of the human body in motion.
It helps doctors treat pain more precisely.
Dr. Victor Ibrahim, Sports Medicine Specialist, says "a lot of patients end up getting x-rays, MRI's, CT scans, which all have significant limitations, but ultrasound actually gives us an idea of what's going on in the body with movement."
Doctors can use the ultrasound as a guide when injecting steroids or other medications into the joint.
They believe this type of imaging will soon be the standard treatment.
