CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) -- Cedar Rapids Kernels relief pitcher Mike Kenney has been added to the all-star roster of the Midwest League's Western Division.  He takes the place of Jeremy Berg, who was promoted to Rancho Cucamonga on Sunday.

Kenney is 1-0 with a 0.52 ERA and 4 saves in 13 relief appearances.  Opposing batters have only hit .105 against him this season.

Kenney joins teammates Mike Trout, Jean Segura, Casey Haerther, Tyler Skaggs, Garrett Richards and Fabio Martinez on the West squad.

Kernels slugger Trout has also been selected to take part in the Home Run Derby, part of the MWL All-Star Summer Classic festivities on Monday night at Parkview Field in Fort Wayne.
