Dubuque's New Hockey Team Announces Corporate Partner

DUBUQUE (KWWL) -- Dubuque's new junior hockey team announced Wednesday a business partnership with American Trust.

Managers of the Dubuque Fighting Saints said it is a multi- year deal that can really elevate the junior hockey team's presence in the city.

"We think this can be one of the great community assets for Dubuque," Dubuque Fighting Saints team president Matt Strelo said.

"This is a significant investment for us, relative to other things that we are doing in the community. This is right up there," American Trust senior vice president of marketing Peggy Hudson said. "But we think that this is such an exciting opportunity for Dubuque, and, as Matt said, this truly is a community asset."

The team's first tryout camp began on Monday and ends on Saturday.

The Dubuque Fighting Saints will begin playing this fall at the new Mystique Community Ice Center.
