Eight arrested in Waterloo for not listening to police

WATERLOO (KWWL) -- Waterloo Police say they arrested eight people on Tuesday night after they refused to comply with the requests of officers.

Captain Tim Pillack says that officers were called to the area of Linn and Oliver Streets at around 8:30 p.m. after someone reported that a large crowd had gathered and there was going to be a fight.

Once officers arrived, Pillack says the crowd dispersed.

Then, bout thirty minutes later, officers were called back to the area again when it was reported that the large crowd was gathering again.

This time, when officers approached, Pillack says several people would not comply with the officer's orders and they were arrested.

Below is a list of who was arrested and the charges they face:

- Raheem Sir'Dimond Scott, 16, of Waterloo; charged with Disorderly Conduct and Interference with Official Acts.
- Rashad Alik Scott, 18, of Waterloo; charged with Disorderly Conduct.
- Rodrecous Jomone Damire Johnson, 17, of Waterloo; charged with Disorderly Conduct and Interference with Official Acts.
- Juanrez Darrold Jefferson, 14, of Waterloo; charged with Disorderly Conduct.
- Keith Lashaun Vaughn, 16, of Waterloo; charged with Disorderly Conduct and Interference with Official Acts.
- Emily Ann Tripp, 19, of Waterloo; charged with Interference with Official Acts.
- Deshai Reniece Manning, 29, of Waterloo; charged with Harassment of a Public Official.
- Nicholas Robert Scott, 13, of Waterloo; charged with Failure to Disperse.
