JACKSON COUNTY (KWWL) -- The investigation continued Monday into the Saturday afternoon drowning of a four-year-old boy.

The Iowa Department of Criminal Investigation is helping the Jackson County Sheriff's Department look into the matter.

Jackson County Sheriff Russ Kettmann released four-year-old Collin Holdgrafer's name and age Monday morning, but said he is unable to give more information until autopsy results return.

The drowning, which allegedly happened in a bathtub, took place Saturday at the Franklin Street Apartments in Andrew.

Collin's family members said he lived there with adoptive parents -- the boy's aunt and biological uncle.

Sheriff's deputies say Collin Holdgrafer was rushed to the Maquoketa County Hospital following a 911 call at 5 p.m. Saturday.

Doctors at Maquoketa County Hospital pronounced the boy dead Saturday, around 5:15 p.m.

Officials have not yet said whether they suspect this was anything more than an accident.

KWWL spoke with family members on Monday who called the situation, "heart-wrenching."
