DODGEVILLE, WIS. (KWWL) -- A teenager is in jail Wednesday on suspicion of selling drugs near a jail or correctional facility.

As part of an effort by the Richland-Iowa-Grant Drug Task Force, along with the Iowa County Sheriff's Department and Dodgeville Police Department, officials conducted a traffic stop for 19-year-old Michael J. Evers.

According to the news release, officials then took Evers into custody in Dodgeville as a result of a "controlled buy transaction."

Evers is in the Iowa County Jail on a probation hold on the pending charges of "delivery of an imitation of a controlled substance" and "distributing a controlled substance near a jail or correctional facility."
