CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) -- Greg Buelow, spokesperson for the Cedar Rapids Fire Department, says they are investigating an arson that destroyed three vehicles, damaged one and damaged a garage.

Firefighters were called to 922 15th Avenue SW at around 1:44 Tuesday morning.

When they arrived, they found one vehicle fully engulfed in flames next to a two-stall, detached garage.  They also found two other vehicles on fire.

A 1978 Ford van, a 1992 GMC Safari, and a 1996 Pontiac Sunfire were all destroyed.  A 1995 Ford F250 had heat damage to the paint and the vinyl siding on the garage was melted.

Richard Lacy, 67, is the owner of the vehicles and garage.

A fire investigator determined that the three separate fires were intentionally set.

No arrests have been made yet and the investigation continues.

If you have any information, please call the arson hotline at 1-800-532-1459 or the Cedar Rapids Fire Department at 319-286-5200.  Information leading to an arrest may be eligible for a reward.
