WATERLOO (KWWL) -- A jury has found former Agriprocessors CEO Sholom Rubashkin not guilty on 67 counts of child labor violations.

Jury deliberations started on Thursday and a verdict came back on Monday morning.

Rubashkin initially face 83 charges involving child labor, but a judge dismissed some of those charges. The case comes after a May 2008 raid at the former Agriprocessors plant in Postville where 389 illegal immigrants, including children, were detained.

Rubashkin is also set to be sentenced in U.S. District Court in Cedar Rapids on federal charges. Judge Linda Reade reset sentencing for June 22.

Rubashkin was convicted of 86 federal counts in November. Prosecutors have asked for a 25-year sentence. Defense attorneys wants a six-year sentence.
