AHA hopes to train 1 million CPR in 1 week

WATERLOO (KWWL) -- National CPR Awareness Week runs June 1-7.  The American Heart Association hopes to train one million Americans during that time to perform the life saving skill.

The website cprweek.org is tracking how many people are trained so far.  Giving someone CPR after suffering cardiac arrest can mean the difference between life and death.

Four to six minutes is the window of opportunity for someone to act before it's too late.
