CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) -- Casey Haerther delivered in the 6th inning as the Cedar Rapids defeated Wisconsin 2-0 for their 6th straight victory.

With 2 runners on, Haerther doubled to snap a scoreless tie, knocking in 2 runners in the 6th.  Haerther contributed half of the Kernels 6 hits going 3 for 3 on the day.

With the win, Cedar Rapids maintains a 2 game lead over the Quad Cities in the western division standings with 19 games remaining on the first half schedule.  The Kernels travel to Lansing for a 3 game series beginning Tuesday.
