Storms hit the Cedar Valley, headed east

WATERLOO (KWWL) -- Spring thunderstorms have hit the Cedar Valley and are headed east.

At one point Wednesday afternoon, 2,300 Mid American Energy customers in the Waterloo area were without power.

Viewers near Jesup were reporting hail.

The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm for Dubuque County until 4:45 Wednesday afternoon.
