DYERSVILLE (KWWL) - Governor Chet Culver says I-jobs grant applications submitted by the cities of Perry and Dyersville have been approved.

A RISE Immediate Opportunity grant to Dyersville will make up to $390,956 available to assist in the construction of approximately 1,188 feet of 12th Avenue S.W. located north of U.S. 20 on the west side of town.
When finished it will provide access to the proposed expansion of Engineering Services & Products Co., the parent company of FarmTek, in the Dyersville industrial area.

The Dyersville project will support the creation of 100 new jobs and retention of 30 jobs at this facility, and more than $4.08 million in associated capital investment. The project will also provide access to an additional 25 acres for future industrial development.

Through a RISE Local Development grant to Perry, up to $246,272 will be made available to assist in the construction of approximately 1,000 feet of Research Drive located south of Iowa 141 in the Perry Industrial Park on the southeast side of town. The completed improvement will provide access to 40 acres for industrial development.
