Two teens injured in crash near West Union


WEST UNION (KWWL) -- A one car crash near West Union sent two teens to the hospital on Thursday.

The Fayette County Sheriff's Office says that Cody Thomas Bouska, 18, of Hawkeye, was cresting a hill on 240th Street, three miles west of West Union, when he swerved to miss a deer.

They say Bouska then lost control of the car, slamming into a bridge.

Cody was ejected, but his sister, Allison Bouska, 15, was left inside when the vehicle came to rest.

Both were taken to Palmer Hospital in West Union.

Cody was later air lifted to a Lacrosse, Wisconsin hospital.

The crash remains under investigation.
