Protesters fill Davenport park over Arizona law

DAVENPORT (KWWL)--Since Arizona's move to allow police to question or detain anyone they believe is an illegal immigrant, rallies have been taking place across the United States, including in Davenport Saturday.

Dozens of protestors gathered in Leclaire Park along the Davenport Riverfront holding up signs, calling the new law discrimination.

"I'm totally against this law in Arizona and I wish Arizona would reconsider and figure out that they're actually dividing America rather than uniting,'' said Cammie Pohl, a protester.

Though they are against the law, protestors all agree the country needs better immigration reform.
