3 years later, still no trial for Bishop Bomber

DUBUQUE (KWWL) -- It's been three years since the man who calls himself "the bishop" was accused of sending threats and pipe bombs to brokerages, but it's still not clear when he'll go on trial.

It was April 25th, 2007 when federal agents stormed the Dubuque home of 45-year-old John Tompkins. He's been in federal prison in Chicago ever since.

Court documents say in letters signed "the bishop", Tompkins demanded employees raise stock prices or they and their families would be harmed.
