Three Hawkeyes taken on NFL Draft's second day

NEW YORK CITY (KWWL) -- Three more Iowa Hawkeyes have been chosen in the 2010 NFL Draft.

The Indianapolis Colts chose linebacker Pat Angerer with their second-round pick.  Angerer was taken 63rd overall, Indy's first pick of the day.

Angerer had 107 tackles as a junior and was fourth in the nation last season with 145 tackles. He's expected to be the backup to middle linebacker Gary Brackett.

The Detroit Lions selected cornerback Amari Spievey with their first pick on the second day of the NFL draft.  Detroit drafted Spievey in the early the third round, 66th overall.

He will get a chance to play immediately on a team that lacks cornerbacks.

The Kansas City Chiefs made a trade with Houston and took tight end Tony Moeaki late in the third round

The Chiefs have been without a quality tight end since trading perennial pro bowler Tony Gonzalez to Atlanta prior to the 2009 season. The position has been a concern.

During his career, Moeaki had 59 catches for 975 yards and nine touchdowns. He totaled 465 yards receiving and five touchdowns as a senior.
