Missing Black Hawk County inmate found

WATERLOO (KWWL) -- A Black Hawk County inmate who failed to return after be given furlough, has been found.

The Black Hawk County Sheriff's Office says Aneesha Aquee Forney,20, was given a furlough to leave the Black Hawk County Jail on Friday by a District Court Judge and was supposed to return on Sunday at 9:00 p.m..

When she didn't return, Black Hawk County Sheriff's Deputies began looking for her.

They found her Monday and she was charged with Escape From Custody. 

According to the sheriff's office, when she was asked why she didn't come back from her furlough, she said, "I didn't want to."

Forney was serving a 92 day jail sentence on a charge of Willful Injury and now awaits an initial appearance on the escape charge..
