OLIN (KWWL) -- The Jones County Sheriff's Department has finished its more than two month long investigation and has charged 32-year-old Jeremy Chamberlin with sexually exploiting a student.

Jeremy Chamberlin is a teacher and coach at Olin High School, but has been on paid administration leave since January 11th, pending the outcome of this investigation.

The Sheriff's report says Chamberlin is accused of inappropriate touching, communication through text messages, and sending obscene pictures.  It happened between September of 2009 and January 2010.  The victim is a 15 year old female student who is a freshman at Olin High School.  She was both a student and athlete of Jeremy Chamberlin.

Officials say Jeremy Chamberlin turned himself into the custody of the Jones County Sheriff's Office.  He's being held on $10,000 cash bond.
