Some flooded Black Hawk County roads to re-open Wednesday

BLACK HAWK COUNTY (KWWL) -- As the spring flooding begins to subside around Iowa, some roads in Black Hawk County that were closed, will begin to re-open on Wednesday.

Below is a list of the flooded roads.  The ones in bold will re-open Wednesday, March 17th:

- E. Bennington Rd. from Wheeler Rd. to Duffy Rd. - Re-opens March 17th 
- E. Bennington Rd. from Crane Creek Rd. to N. Raymond Rd.
- E. Bennington Rd. from N. Elk Run Rd. to Crane Creek Rd.
- E. Bennington Rd. from Wheeler Rd. to Owen Rd. - Re-opens March 17th

E Big Rock Rd & Cunningham Rd intersection From Rice Rd to E Airline Hwy
- Hoff Road from Shaulis Road to Orange Road
- Watters Road from Hollis Road to Platt Road
- Teem Road from Dunkerton Road to the county line
- E. Gresham Rd. from N. Elk Run Rd. to Crane Creek Rd.
- N. Elk Run Rd. from E. Cedar-Wapsi Rd. to E. Gresham Rd.
- Butler Rd. from Beaver Valley Rd. to Westbrook Rd.
- Westfork Rd. from Finchford Rd. to N Butler Rd. - Re-opens March 17th
- N. Black Hawk - Buchanan from E Cedar Wapsi Rd. to Fairbank Rd. - Re-opens March 17th
- Grundy Rd. from Zaneta Rd. to W Griffith Rd. - Re-opens March 17th

The Black Hawk County Secondary Roads Department asks everyone to avoid the closed roads and find an alternate route.
