Ames returns the favor on a rebound from Barnes, it's just two of his 29 points. Ames up 22-18 at the break.

"The first half we played well. I thought we could have illuminated offensive rebounds a little more. I think we would have been ahead at half-time," said Josh Oglesby.

But Barnes was unstoppable in the second half. Washington would hold on as Oglesby puts up a three point shot. But it wouldn't be enough for Ames. The Little Cyclones win it by 13 points, 57-44.

"It's puts us in situations where we can't be sloppy with the basketball and it makes every possession count," said Harrison Barnes when asked how he felt about winning the game by just 13 points. The Little Cyclones were expected to win by a long shot.

"It's just the perfection that's needed to make it through 32 minutes. The stops that's what you need over long course of time. But I'm incredible proud with how are we played but not only that, the competitive nature that they put on for us. It was a good basketball game," said head coach Brad Metzger.
