CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) -- Waverly-Shell Rock, Denver-Tripoli, and Don Bosco all followed up their team championships at the traditional state tournament by capturing all 3 titles at Saturday's state dual meet.

Don Bosco cruised to the class 1A finals with a 62 point victory over Clarion-Goldfield and a 52 point win over Coon-Rapids Bayard.  Second ranked Nashua-Plainfield offered the Dons a tough challenge in the finals, but the Dons put the meet away late winning 34 to 27.

Denver-Tripoli capped a perfect 26-0 season in class 2A with a 43-24 victory over runner-up Davenport Assumption.  The Titans won 4 matches by fall, helping catapult them to the 19 point victory.

It came down the final match in class 3A where Waverly-Shell Rock beat Iowa City West 34-30.  At 215, with the Go Hawks trailing by 2, Cody Krumweide picked up a 3rd period pin over Mickey Pelfrey giving Waverly-Shell Rock the four point victory.
