Brown Deer Golf Club Thursday announced the kickoff of a Youth Golf Program this coming season.  The Youth Golf Program will focus on learning and playing the game of golf, proper scoring, golf etiquette, and golf equipment that's right for the user.

Eligible golfers will be ten to eighteen years of age and make a commitment to following the guidelines of the program.  Registrations are now being taken for the parent and youth golfer introductory meetings which are a required part of the program.  Details regarding the program are available at www.browndeergolf.org or at the Brown Deer Pro Shop.

Brown Deer Golf Professionals Sean McCarty and Derek Birt will provide a well rounded and supported golf experience.  Workshops and clinics will be offered as part of the program as well as access to the course during certain hours as part of the package fee.

Program fee is $300 for the 2010 golf season.  This fee includes golf during non-peak hours (further defined in program packet), orientation clinic, bi-weekly communication regarding the game of golf, tips clinics, and other great learning opportunities.
